Tuc Watkins
TUC WATKINS (Joe White) currently appears on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and created the role of “David Vickers” on ABC’s “One Life to Live,” where he still occasionally stirs up trouble. Tuc also starred on the Showtime series, “Beggars & Choosers.” Recurring television roles have included “C-16: FBI” and “Sisters.” Among television guest appearances: “Cold Case,” “CSI,” “Six Feet Under” and “The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman.” Features include The Mummy with Brendan Fraser, Robert De Niro’s The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie and Disney’s The Miracle in Lane Two with Frankie Muniz. Independent films include I Think I Do, Little Sister and Can’t Stop Dancing! A founder of “The All-U-Can-Eat Players,” Tuc received a Drama-Logue Award for Jack Heifner’s Boys’ Play” and starred in Fortune’s Fools off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane. Most importantly, he won all the money on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader,” and donated it to his sister’s non-profit organization, “Creative Adventures.”

Peter Scolari
PETER SCOLARI (Alan) was a founding member of New York’s celebrated Colonnades Theater Lab (Artistic Director - Michael Lessac), where he played Camille in A Flea in her Ear, the title role in Warbeck by resident Playwright David Morgan, in too few plays by the gifted Louis Philips; most notably as a drunken sailor in The Ballroom in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and later originated the role of Charles Varlet de La Grange in Moliere in Spite of Himself. Selected TV appearances including “The West Wing,” “ER,” “Family Ties,” “The Drew Carey Show,” “The Nanny,” “King of Queens,” “Reba,” “Ally McBeal,” among numerous others. Emmy Award winning mini-series “From the Earth to the Moon” (as Pete Conrad) for HBO, Telefilms “The Ryan White Story,” opposite George C. Scott and “Perfect Harmony.” Feature films include The Polar Express, That Thing You Do, Camp Nowhere, The Suburban Girl, A Plumm Summer, and upcoming Larry Crowne. Perhaps best known as Henry Desmond in “Bosom Buddies,” also “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids,” the TV Series, and as Michael Harris on “Newhart,” for which he was thrice Emmy nominated (one win) and with consecutive American Comedy Award honors. Shameless appearances on the “Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night w/ David Letterman,” “Regis and Kathy Lee,” all with good intentions.. Recent Broadway credits include Cole Porter’s Out of This World, Ziegfeld’s Follies of 1937, both at New York’s acclaimed City Center Encores series, as well as Hairspray, Sly Fox, and as Littlechap in Stop the World, I Want to Get Off for Showtime. Betty Buckley
BETTY BUCKLEY (Mrs. White) won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. She received her second Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a musical for her performance as Hesione in Triumph of Love, and an Olivier Award nomination for her interpretation of Norma Desmond in the London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard, which she repeated to more rave reviews on Broadway. Her other Broadway credits include 1776, Pippin, Song and Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Carrie. Off-Broadway credits include Lincoln Center’s Elegies, the original NYSF production of Edwin Drood, The Eros Trilogy and Juno Swans. Regional credits include Gypsy, Threepenny Opera, Camino Real and Buffalo Gal. She starred in the London production of Promises, Promises. She most recently co-starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening released in June 2008. Other films include her debut in Brian de Palma’s screen version of Stephen King’s Carrie, Bruce Beresford’s Tender Mercies, Roman Polanski’s Frantic, Woody Allen’s Another Woman and Lawrence Kasden’s Wyatt Earp. On television, Buckley recently completed a role in “The Pacific” for HBO and appeared on the 2006 Kennedy Center Honors. She has also starred for three seasons in the HBO series “Oz” and as Abby Bradford in the hit series “Eight is Enough.” She has appeared as a guest star in numerous television series, miniseries and films for television including Evergreen, Roses for The Rich, the CBS series “Without A Trace” and “Law & Order: SVU” for NBC. Buckley has recorded 11 CD’s, among them Quintessence and Betty Buckley 1967 and the Grammy Nominated Stars and the Moon, Betty Buckley Live at the Donmar. She received her second Grammy Nomination for the audio book The Diaries of Adam and Eve. For over thirty-seven years, Ms. Buckley has been a teacher of scene study and song interpretation, giving workshops in Manhattan and various universities and performing arts conservatories around the country. She has been a faculty member in the theatre department of the University of Texas at Arlington, the Terry Schreiber Acting School in New York City and currently teaches in Fort Worth, TX. In April of 2009, Ms. Buckley received the Texas Medal of Arts Award for Theater and was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in 2007.

Christy Carlson Romano
CHRISTY CARLSON ROMANO (Michelle) has been performing since the age of six. She received an Emmy nomination for Best Performance in an Animated Series for the title role in “Kim Possible.” Romano is also known for her role as Disney’s darling in “Even Stevens” and “The Stevens Get Even,” “Cadet Kelly,” as well as ABC Family’s “Campus Confidential,” “The Cutting Edge 2” and “The Cutting Edge 3.” She has appeared on TV’s, “Joan of Arcadia,” “Girlfriends,” “Hawthorne” and “Summerland.” On the big screen, Romano has worked with the likes of directors Woody Allen, Hal Hartley and Martin Davidson. She will appear in Mirrors 2 with Fox Searchlight in October, 2010. Christy musical theatre background includes original Broadway productions of Avenue Q, Beauty and the Beast, Parade and the first national tours of The Sound of Music & Will Rogers Follies. Romano penned a novel, Grace’s Turn for Hyperion, which received accolades by the New York Public Library as the 2007 Teenage Book of the Year. Romano will finish her business degree in Barnard College at Columbia University in the fall. She thanks God and her family and her puppies for their consistent support.

Jimmy Ray Bennett
JIMMY RAY BENNETT (Men) is a founding member of the Off-Broadway “cult hit”, The Nuclear Family as well as The Extended Family on the Sundance Film Channel, having just completed successful runs of the former in Los Angeles, Boston and Miami. Recent theatre includes the Encores’ revival of Damn Yankees, Broadway Three Generations at the Kennedy Center, King Lear for Shakespeare West, Illyria w/ Prospect and Fully Committed all over. He made his Off-Broadway debut in 2001’s Pirates of Penzance on that boat. A member of the Dramatist Guild of America, current projects are Walker in Babylon and the new book for 1930’s Fine and Dandy. Winner, 2005 World Domination Improv Tournament. Loser, 2006. Andrea Grano
ANDREA GRANO (Barbara) recently appeared on stage in the World Premiere of David Ives’ The Other Woman, and in the Los Angeles Premiere of Kate Robin’s ANON. She has guest starred on such TV shows as “Brothers and Sisters,” “October Road,” “InJustice” and in a recurring role on “24,” as Ellen Page. Andrea’s film work includes Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes, Outside Sales, Primo, and the upcoming Terry Green film No God, No Master opposite David Strathairn. She is a member of the Los Angeles based Echo Theater Company. Andrea is thrilled to be working with this excellent team of people and thanks her family and friends for their support.

Rena Strober
RENA STROBER (Women) is thrilled to be working alongside this incredible cast. She is also happy to be doing a show where nobody dies. Rena has been seen both on and Off-Broadway in Les Miserables, My Life with Albertine (Playwrights Horizons) and her 1-woman show, Spaghetti & Matzo Balls! Regional favorites include Belle in Beauty & the Beast, Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Billy Smith in Babes in Arms and the original cast of Reefer Madness. She won the Outer Critics Award for her performance in Zhivago at the La Jolla Playhouse. Rena recently completed a year on the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof, playing Tzeitel opposite Topol, Harvey Fierstein and Theodore Bikel. TV Credits include “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Kings.” Her debut album Finding Home was released last summer and is the soundtrack to her 1-woman show. Ben Andron
BEN ANDRON (Playwright) is a writer/producer of motion picture marketing at The Ant Farm, one of the largest and most reputable motion picture advertising agencies in Los Angeles, where he has been creatively involved in the releases of major Hollywood films, including Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Where the Wild Things Are, Star Trek, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, and many others. Prior to working in theatrical marketing, Ben was a producer of DVD Extra Content, and his work can be seen on numerous DVD’s including “One Tree Hill” (Seasons 1-3), Point Break: Pure Adrenaline Edition, and Ben Hur: Collector’s Edition. As a writer, Ben worked closely with Disney TV Animation for several years developing an animated series he co-created for Jetix/ABC Family, for which he wrote several pilots, and also wrote multiple episodes for the BBC animated series “Friends and Heroes.” White’s Lies marks his first venture into the legitimate theatre.

Bob Cline
BOB CLINE (Director) is a professor at NYC’s Pace University, in charge of the Senior Musical Theatre majors in the BFA program. Last spring Bob directed Bare at the Schaeberle Theatre in NYC, where he is currently working on a production of Cabaret. All three shows he has directed for the Vital Theatre Company have been nominated and/or won the Sam French Festival. Other acclaimed or favorite productions include Crimes of the Heart; Violet; Song for a New World; A Christmas Carol, (all above nominated, best director); A New Brain (winner, best director); Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean; Full Monty; Ragtime; Titanic; Into the Woods; To Kill a Mockingbird; A Year with Frog and Toad; Falsettos; Side Show; Assassins; Little Sop of Horrors; Pippin and Das Barbecu. Bob is also a full time casting director here in NYC, and has helped to populate over 60 national tours, hundreds of regional theatre productions, film, TV and commercials.
